About Victor Frost’s Bolero op. 4, no. 5
Bolero is a part of Sketchpad: Five Little Pieces for Guitar written by Victor Frost. These miniature pieces were composed between the spring of 1976 and that of 1977, in Miami.

“A part of Miami is often referred to as Little Havana. I wanted to write a “little habañera” to go with it. Notwithstanding, the piece, with its ostinato accompaniment, fashioned itself into a bolero instead. But the Cuban variety of bolero, to be sure!” – Victor Frost, Composer
